After the success of the last edition, which saw more than 500 events happening throughout Europe, the European Maker Week will return from 23rd to 29th October 2017.
Promoted by the European Commission and realized by Maker Faire Rome- The European Edition in collaboration with Startup Europe, and the DG Connect, the EMW aims to bring the European Movement to the forefront through the realization of simultaneous events (workshops, thematic light talks, educational day , meet ups etc. ) in each EU country from 23 to 29 October.
All FabLabs, Makerspaces, Hackerspaces, Research Centers, Schools and Universities and in general all the institutions that work with passion on the innovation topics are called to organize an event within the European Maker Week.

Together we will give voice to the makers’ movement across Europe
We want to remind you that Maker Faire Rome, the European Edition 2017, will be held in Rome from 1 to 3 December and we are waiting for all forms of applied creativity, from the most serious to the most imaginative projects, from new technologies to traditional arts and crafts… The Call 4 Makers will be open until Oct.1. Selected Call for Makers projects will enjoy free participation!

Dopo il successo della scorsa edizione che ha visto la realizzazione di oltre 500 progetti in tutta Europa, torna la European Maker Week dal 23 al 29 ottobre 2017.
Promosso dalla Commissione Europea e realizzato da Maker Faire Rome in collaborazione con Startup Europe e DG Connect, il progetto vuole portare alla ribalta il movimento maker europeo attraverso la realizzazione di eventi simultanei (workshops, thematic light talks, educational day, meet ups etc.) in ogni paese dell’Unione Europea nella settimana dal 23 al 29 ottobre.
Tutti i FabLabs, Makerspaces, Hackerspaces, i Centri di Ricerca, le Scuole e le Università e, in generale, tutte le istituzioni che lavorano con passione, sono chiamate ad organizzare un evento nell’ ambito della European Maker Week.

Ci teniamo a ricordavi che Maker Faire Rome, The European Edition, si terrà a Roma dal 1 al 3 dicembre. Aspettiamo progetti creativi, innovativi, divertenti, interattivi, didattici, animati da passione e ingegno. La Call for makers scadrà il 1 ottobre. I progetti selezionati attraverso la Call parteciperanno gratuitamente.
